Over a single generation, Kuper Academy has grown into one of the leading independent schools on Montreal’s West Island. It was first opened by Mrs. Janet Perdue in 1986 as a small elementary school that focused on imaginative learning in a secure family environment. Seeing the increasing demand for independent education on Montreal's West Island, Kindergarten and High school are constructed so that Kuper completes its evolution into a complete pre-school through secondary level educational facility. Kuper has always taken pride in providing a welcoming atmosphere and serves families from some 100 different countries of origin. Now the modern building complex situated on a six-acre campus provides a wealth of facilities, including two libraries, three gyms, playing fields, three science and two computer laboratories. Kuper’s reputation for academic excellence is built upon its challenging curriculum, the dedication of its staff and its positive learning environment.
